Social justice
For my social justice project, I focused on the glamorization
of self harm and mental illness. I made cuts out of glitter,
trying to show self harm as a "beautiful" thing, when really,
its not.

Music
In these photos, Hayley and I focused on the idea
of escape, and we wanted all the photos to be in black and
white to make them look a lot more serious and create a darker mood.

Culture
For my culture photo, I went to my church and took
pictures of the worship team. The photo I used was of
my friend Nayah and shes playing guitar and singing
in the photo. At church, we use music as a form of
worship.

Typology
For my typology, I wanted to focus on something that
I really enjoy, that being eyeballs. I gathered together some
of my friends and took pictures of all of their eyes, and
then framed them in InDesign.
photo Of the week: whistler train Wreck
For this week, I went to Whistler and took photos of a
bunch of train cars that had crashed and been left in
a forest. People had turned something tragic like a crash
into something beautiful, with their graffiti.

photo of the week: fashion
For this week, I used my friend Hayley as a model. I
had noticed that she always dresses very nicely so I wanted
to take pictures of the different parts of her outfit.

Photo of the week: Fall
For this week I used the orange leaves of fall and the water
droplets as a subject matter, capturing what you may see
in the fall.
